Thanks man, this was the reason. I finally figured out (with help from link below), that it was caused by my desktop slideshow changing background every 10 seconds. For the first few days the desktop images would change at the selected interval but then, for some as yet unknown reason, the slideshow stopped and the desktop image would need have a peek at these guys Why not simply replace the dropdown menu with a text input field or add little plus and minus buttons so everyone can set their preferred timer.
