There were several little niggles with both games that went away with this card upgrade. Fourth one down is a post on card, same manufacturer... Also, i did discover some screen rendering problems (some black lines)with google chrome, don't know if it is caused by the driver or chrome.. I tend to feel that ATI/AMD want to support Linux but just can't or won't invest enough into it.

This one was a little over 150 shipped. You could always purchase the monitors…try things out…and if they work great. Have you been to the 'Phoronix' site?

The fact is when I grew tired of the Radeon 5850 being out of stock I bought this card and so far hooked to a Panasonic 46" plasma it has performed I want to add a blueray drive (not burner for now) to my system as well as a 2d monitor.
